The Glutebuilder Dual 45 Hip is a 45-degree hip extension machine. In the Booty zone, it is designed primarily for training the glutes, while depending on the setting and position of the feet, it also engages the back of the thighs. The movement takes place in a stabilized path, so you can focus on controlled extension in the hips without having to hold a dumbbell or barbell.
The machine offers two main options for adjusting the feet. In the classic position with the legs more extended, the hamstrings are more significantly involved in the movement, along with the glutes. The second position uses increased and adjustable support for the feet with the knees bent. This option limits the contribution of the back of the thighs and allows you to feel the work of the glutes more specifically. The choice of position depends on the goal of the training, technique and individual adjustment.
The main advantages include stable support throughout the repetition, easier adjustment of the starting position and the ability to gradually add weight using discs. The adjustable lumbar support and starting handle help to adapt the machine to the figure and keep the body in a stable position. Non-slip foot surfaces provide secure contact with the platform during various exercise variations.
For a quality workout, it is important to adjust the backrest so that the pelvis is firmly supported and the movement comes from the hips. The repetitions are performed smoothly, without swinging and without excessive range. In the upper phase, the gluteal muscles can be briefly strengthened, while the back remains in a stable position. The load should be chosen so that it is possible to maintain the same technique from the first to the last repetition.
The Dual 45 Hip is suitable for training the glutes alone or as part of a leg workout. Thanks to the two foot positions, it allows you to change the emphasis between the glutes and hamstrings without changing the machine.
